Spring is here! Nowhere is that more evident than the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. The flowers are blooming, the bees are buzzing, and the butterflies are everywhere! The Monarch Council celebrated Spring’s arrival with a fantastic event just for the gardens’ Monarch Society members, comprised of young professionals working to support the future of the gardens. After a light brunch (and of course Mimosas!) members were treated to a short talk about the benefits of Milkweed and how to help save the Monarchs. Each attendee was able to plant their very own milkweed plant to take home to further this mission. To cap off the morning, members were invited to tour the newly opened Butterfly garden, which is just a flurry of activity and packed with these beautiful creatures!
The Desert Botanical Garden is an absolutely breathtaking place to host events and weddings. The grounds could not be more beautiful, and the various venues within the gardens add character and a unique architectural style. The Binns wildflower pavilion might be my favorite spot in this very special location!
