Family & Kids’ Sessions
My standard family and child portrait sessions are about one hour in length. I have a very easy going style, and will shoot a mix of gently posed shots and beautiful candids! I will usually start off the session by interacting with any children attending, to gain their trust and hopefully make them comfortable being silly in front of my camera. Family sessions always include lots of variations and groupings, including mom and dad alone! I love to shoot my sessions on-location, outdoors, in the beautiful wide open with gorgeous golden light! Parks, beaches, urban locations and even your own backyard all make for beautiful and meaningful locations. I have a very clean and natural style, which puts the focus on you and not on props or other trends of the moment. I want your images to be timeless pieces of art that you can treasure forever and never look back and wonder What was I thinking?
Cake smash sessions (my FAVORITE!!!) are the one exception, and are always shot right at your home on a studio backdrop, usually on a patio, driveway, or inside next to a sliding glass door, wherever we get the best beautiful natural light possible. When we are done with our session, the disposable backdrop, cake and all, goes right in the trash, and your little angel can go straight into the bath!
Family sessions include your professionally edited, high resolution images delivered to you in a beautiful online sharing gallery. From here you may download your images, share with friends and family, and have the option to purchase prints, canvas and albums. While I do not set a minimum or maximum number of images, because every session is so unique, I typically deliver 20-30 images and sometimes several more depending on how many people are being photographed, the type of location, the moods of any children, and whether we are able to start on time (I’ve been called a magician but even I cannot slow down sunset!). I am happy to accommodate one outfit change during our session, but please keep in mind the location (is there a restroom to change in?) and remember that any time spent changing takes time away from your session.
Extended Family Sessions
My extended family sessions are perfect for family reunions, family vacations and other large groups of more than 6 people. Extended family sessions are anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours in length depending on the number of participants, groupings, and the moods of any children present. I will do my best to squeeze in every possible variation and grouping possible! During extended family sessions I will always try to capture individual shots of any children, but time will not allow for individual shots of every adult. Extended family sessions are alway shot outdoors.

Due to the time constraints of a large group session, I kindly ask that you not plan for outfit changes (have you ever seen 12 people all try to change clothes at once and get photo ready again? Chaos!!)
Investment and Delivery
Family sessions start at $325, and extended sessions start at $400. Your session includes high resolution, professionally edited digital files. I love to give you the images where there are beautiful expressions, and priceless moments being captured so there are usually a good number of adorable candids mixed among your posed shots! While I do not edit and/or share every image from our session, I do strive to deliver the best photo(s) of every pose and different groupings of people. Anything with blinks, blur or odd facial expressions hits the cutting room floor right away.
Typically I will post a few sneak peek photos on my facebook page within 48 hours of our session. I will aim to have your gallery portraits edited and ready within two weeks of our session, but no later than 3 weeks (and sometimes just a few days!). You will receive your photos in a private online gallery. This allows for the quickest delivery of the images, for you to easily view and share your photos. From there you are welcome to order print products through my professional photo lab if you would like. You have full printing rights to these digital images.
