What services do you offer?
I provide photography services for residential real estate, small businesses, doctors’ and dentists’ offices, and brands. Services include high resolution photography for print and online media, brand films, HD video capture, headshots, event photography, and more based on client need.
What areas do you serve?
I serve all of the East Valley including Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Mesa, Ahwatukee, and Tempe. I also have limited availability in the Scottsdale and Phoenix areas.
Are you insured?
Yes! I carry a 1 million dollar business liability policy to help protect both my own property and the property we are working with. I am also a licensed business in the city of Gilbert, and registered with the Arizona Department of Revenue
What rights will I receive to the photos?
You will receive rights to use the images in print and online, for the purposes of promotion of your own business and/or listing and selling the property. There is no time limit on these rights, they do not expire. You may not use the images to promote your parent company in general, to advertise other goods or services, or for publication (except with written permission) nor may they be sold or transferred to any other party. I retain copyright to the images, as is industry standard, and maintain rights to use the images as work product samples both online and in print.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, all photography work, whether print or digital, is subject to sales tax in Arizona. My sales tax rate is 7.8%
What are your payment and cancellation terms?
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Please be prepared to follow through with the shoot on the date scheduled, as that date has been reserved in my schedule just for you. If a cancellation is requested 15 days or more prior to the scheduled shoot, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking fee will apply. You may reschedule one time without penalty if a new date is requested 15 days or more prior to the scheduled booking. For client cancellation within 14 days of the property shoot, the booking fee will be non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. I will offer a one time courtesy reschedule for true emergency situations. If I arrive at a real estate property and it is substantially not photo ready, and cannot be photographed as-is, no refund will provided.
Will I be working with you, or an associate photographer?
I do not employ any associate photographers, I produce and edit all of my own work. This allows me to provide consistent service and images so you know exactly what to expect from me.
Do you offer arial photography/ drone video?
Due to licensing and insurance requirements, I do not currently provide arial photography.
How long does a real estate session take?
Most homes under 2500 square feet can be completed within about an hour, IF they are photo ready when I arrive. If the home is not photo ready, I may need to spend additional time moving items and replacing them. Above that size, I request 2 hours of time, though I am often finished much sooner.
What is “photo ready”?
I ask that you have the property photo ready prior to my arrival, to keep things moving as quickly as possible. Photo ready includes all items put away from bathroom and kitchen counters and sinks and nightstands, windows, counters and appliances freshly cleaned, personal items hidden from view such as keys, shoes and pet toys, beds neatly made, cars removed from the driveway, trash cans hidden from view, etc. I will provide you with a check list of items to help you identify how the property will show the best in photos.
What happens if the property is not ready, or is dirty?
If I arrive and the property cannot be photographed as-is, I will advise you that we need to schedule a new date. This includes substantially dirty windows, floors, counters or appliances, dirty bathrooms, clutter that cannot be easily hidden or moved, cars that cannot be moved from the driveway, etc.
Do I have to be at the property during the shoot?
I do request that you are on site to meet me and do an initial walk-through, for both of our protection and so that you can show me any areas you would like to highlight and I can let you know of any problem areas, or things that will not show well. If you would prefer to leave after the walk-through, an assistant or the home owner may take your place. For safety and liability reasons I do request that you have someone you trust on site at all times. If this is a problem, please let me know, but know that I will work as quickly as possible and respect your time as well. I do not have lock box access.
