One spectacular Southern California evening this June, the Plaza Arbor room at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach was rocking and rolling – quite literally – for a very special cause! The beautiful open air ballroom provided the perfect setting for Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire‘s annual Rolling for Wishes fundraising event, hosted by the Young Professionals of Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire, and I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to photograph the event. The dice were flying and the cards shuffling as generous donors gambled the night away at the craps, blackjack and roulette tables. Guests were also treated to delicious treats, with desserts sponsored by the National Charity League Rancho Irvine Chapter, and some down home drinks served up by Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine . During a short break in the action, donors were treated to a personal, and very touching, testimonial from a wish recipient family, after which the traditional 52 Card game garnered a captive audience. It was a fabulous, easy-going, and fun evening and I can’t wait for next year’s event!
