The mini’s are coming! The mini’s are coming! I know it is your FAVORITE time of year, time to get those kiddos all dressed up and happy and bring them to our annual torture session *ahem* portrait session! I kid, I kid, you know sessions with me are FUN. I do not take anything too seriously, other than the settings in my camera.
Mini’s are going to look just a little bit different this year, but I promise you are going to love them! This year I am working with an amazing local farm. All of my mini sessions will be scheduled on the farm within her gorgeous Olive tree grove! The light is absolutely beautiful in the grove, it is such a peaceful and rustic setting. The best part is – it is totally private! No jockeying for the best spot, or waiting our turn. No parking hassles or long walks. You can pull right up to the grove, park and be inside. The grove will be all ours during our session. Check out this recent session from the grove, this was sunrise light but sunset is equally as awesome!
If you’re a returning client, and you know already that mini’s are right for you, you can skip the tutorial and head right over here to grab your spot… 2021 FALL MINIS. Session dates are September 12th, October 10th, and November 20th.

SO WHAT IS A MINI SESSION, ANYWAYS?
A mini session is a miniature version of my full one hour portrait session. It’s short, sweet and to the point, and can work out perfectly for most families who like to update their photos often, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
First, I ask that you not plan any outfit changes during minis as it takes up a LOT of our precious shooting time. I also do not provide or use any props or sets with my mini-sessions, the focus is on your and your sweet family!
Understandably, with a mini session you will receive less images than a full session. I do not limit the number of images I provide, and you will get all of the most awesome shots, but less time than a standard session means less images (I average around 15-20 for a mini session, but occasionally we’ll get more!)
And lastly, if you have kiddos who HATE the camera, and photos have been difficult in the past, I would strongly suggest booking a full session instead. This gives me time to be silly and interact with your child while they warm up to me and give them breaks so they are not super stressed and end up hating photos even more.
